How I Converted My Cancelled Cebu Pacific Flights to Travel Fund

Reading Time: 2 minutes

I lost count of the days we have been under quarantine due to the Enhanced Community Quarantine. April is ending in a few weeks and there is still no sign of COVID-19 fading away anytime soon. So with that said, we might still be locked up inside our homes or be cautious when going outside. Unfortunately, this affected lots of our plans. Personally, mine are several travel plans and one of which is my Bangkok trip this June.

My Solo Birthday Escape at One Tagaytay Place

Reading Time: 4 minutes

For the past 27 years, my birthdays have just come and go. Just like how I wanted them- no big parties, no huge celebrations, no crowd- just me and my family having dinner at a restaurant or a buffet. To be honest, I never wished for anything grand. After all, it was just a day! This year, on my 27th, I wanted to try something new. I planned to have that special day by myself. I wanted to celebrate it on my own and my initial plans were either to revisit Bangkok or stay in La Union and Baguio. Coincidentally, a hotel in Tagaytay reached out to me, inviting me to stay with them for a night and I thought, “hey! I can spend my birthday here instead!” And that’s exactly what happened. Bingers, let me share with you my experience at One Tagaytay Place!

My Pawsome Chinese New Year at Le Village Lifestyle Park

Reading Time: 2 minutes

When we say Chinese New Year, every Filipino would instantly be reminded of tikoy, hopia, and angpao! Well, a large part of the Filipino culture is inspired by Chinese. There is even a running joke that every Filipino has a trace of Chinese blood in them. With that said, it is given that even non-Chinese Filipinos do celebrate Chinese New Year. For this year’s celebration, I joined Fruitas Holding’s Le Village Lifestyle Park‘s celebration of the said event.
