The immersive visual experience relaxes me and transports me somewhere else. Lucky for us, Ortigas opens its gates once again for the third year in a row at the award-winning Ortigas Arts Festival. The festival aims to expand Filipino’s art consciousness and knowledge by bringing in masterful art works and pieces. Bingers, here are more reasons for you to check out the Ortigas Art Festival 2020 in Estancia Mall in Ortigas.

Now On Its Third Run

The award-winning art exhibit continues to make art accessible to everyone. Having been awarded in the Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards and International Business Awards 2019, the Ortigas Art Festival 2020 promised a bigger exhibition this year. And that they did as several artists from all over the world brought their artworks in Capitol Commons for people to enjoy, as curated by Renato Habulan, resident curator of Eskinita Gallery. Also, the festival is featuring bocetos through Papelismo Bocetos. This does not only highlight the creative process the artists’ faced during the creation process but it also allows art enthusiast to take home an artwork on display for affordable rates.

This year’s exhibit is bigger with over 300 artworks from 100 artists being on displayed. Among the artists who joined are s Arnel Borja, Richard Buxani, Allison David, and Sam Penaso. Joining them are Arnel Agawin, Julio Austria, Jeho Bitancor, Gala Caki, Justo Cascante III, Reynold dela Cruz, Michelle Dawson, Feliciano Gallardo, Processo Gelladuga II, Katrinn Hamann, Sahid Kazi, Leonor RS Lim, Alfonso Medillo, Dengcoy Miel, Rey Padernilla, Made Palguna, Manuel Rubio, Joel Soliven, Art Zamora, and Jose Zulueta. Also on exhibit are works from three galleries, among them, Eskinita Art Gallery, Kaida Contemporary Gallery, and vMeme Contemporary Art Gallery. With a promise to bring art closer to the people, Ortigas Art Festival 2020 also held workshops to complement the exhibit. These workshops were facilitated by both local and international artists.
