Dine and Craft: Erin's Artists' Lounge and Cafe

Reading Time: 3 minutes

Answer me, Bingers: when I say Cubao or more particularly, Araneta Center, what comes first to your mind? Probably Araneta Coliseum or Gateway. As for me, it’s my go-to place every weekend: Today X Future. But hey, I recently found a spot perfect for foodies and artists! And it is right at the heart of Ali Mall. Yup, you read that right. The historic Ali Mall is still alive and kicking and even had a fresh spot- Ali X! The newly-renovated area of Ali Mall houses Erin’s Artists’ Lounge and Cafe! I visited the place recently, tried their food, took lots of photos, and yes, I’m definitely coming back! Discover more of what this pretty cafe has to offer!

Place for Arts

I am in Cubao every weekend to party the night away but I haven’t been to Ali Mall in years! Amidst the restaurants and countless branches of Taco Bell, lies a restaurant/cafe with an inviting retro vibe. The aesthetics of the place is a plus for me, and I am pretty sure for you too, because it is perfect for your Instagram feeds! The design, according to the owners, is to blend with the current concept of the newly launched wing of Ali Mall- Ali X!

Great ideas come from good food and that’s what Erin’s Artists’ Lounge and Cafe believe in! Ready for a fun fact? The restaurant has been around since 2010. Well, sort off. It is an offspring of a small pizza and pasta place in Teacher’s Village. Since then, they saw several evolution and transfers. You might even remember seeing them in some food parks. That was until they settled in their new location. With that said, their recipes have been with the family for decades.

Erin’s caters to multi-palate customers. Their menu is filled with tasty snacks that will not break the bank! And yes, they are not just yummy, they also come in huge servings! Whether you are up for some pasta, shakes, burgers, or rice meals- you will look no further. Personally, I order a porchetta sandwich and a cup of mocha on my visit and I was shookt!

I had a porchetta sandwich that night and it is overwhelmingly good! | Erin’s Artists’ Lounge and Cafe | The Little Binger

The sandwich was nearly the size of my palm. After seeing its size, I kind of started believing that the quality will be mediocre and to much of my surprise, it isn’t! The meat inside was rather abundant and they did not skimp on the veggies. No sandwich order is complete without chips on the side. My fellow bloggers tried other items off of their menu and what we had was a feast. One food that excited me the most was their spaghetti ice cream. Yes, it’s not made out of pasta! It is vanilla ice cream with strawberry syrup made to look like pasta.
