There is no denying that Korean food has totally invaded the palate of Filipinos. I mean, just look around you and you’ll find Korean restaurants everywhere! Even on supermarkets, you will find Korean food such as noodles and chips. Don’t get me wrong, I am not complaining. I love them, especially Korean ice creams! But before Korean food has taken over the country, there was a craze over Japanese food. And yes, right now I am so torn about which cuisine I love more. The good thing is we won’t have to pick one because I recently discovered a restaurant that is a fusion of Korean and Japanese cuisine. Bingers, here is my experience at Yakikai Restaurant!

Feast Without Breaking the Bank
Yakikai Restaurant is the place to be for someone like me who craves for samgyupsal as much as he craves for sashimi. My friends know that I am a HUGE sashimi lover. Fresh, thick slices of tuna and salmon never fail to put a smile on my face. I love them so much that typing about it makes me crave for some. The restaurant offers it as part of their package. Now, speaking of package, that is another thing that I liked about Yakikai. They are not only affordable but also highly customizable. Starting at P339, diners can enjoy their Premium Set which includes unlimited beef, pork, chicken, and shrimp. Meanwhile, sashimi lovers like I am can avail their Emperor Set package for P599!
Grill, Sushi, and Buffet
One feature Yakikai Restaurant has that makes it more value for its price is the buffet. Yes! It is part of the set you are paying for. If you do not feel like cooking your food, you can also choose to get from the already prepared food which are equally delicious, if you ask me. Served here is a fusion of Japanese and Korean food such as sushi, tempura, japchae, and stir fry beef. Honestly, the tempura is so good, I am so obsessed with them!
For your next dining experience, you now know where to go. You know what, Bingers, I might just drop by soon for my fill of sashimi and Korean BBQ!
