3 Reasons to Fall In Love with Peter Rabbit

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Generation of readers have been captivated by the mischievous and adventurous bunny. Many grew up following their adventures. They now star in their own movie in Peter Rabbit. With that said, here are 3 reasons you will fall in love with Peter Rabbit in the movie!

  1. The Furry Friends
James Corden voices the titular character alongside Margot Robbie, Elizabeth Debicki, and Daisy Ridley as his sisters. The group of rabbits always get in trouble with their feud Mr. McGregor (Domhnall Gleeson). Meanwhile, they take comfort in the arms of the next door animal-lover played by Rose Byrne. As days go by, their fight intensifies as well. The characters are cute on their own but it is the voice that did the magic. Robbie and Corden were hilarious as they are mischievous. Meanwhile, it is surprising to see Gleeson in such a light role after seeing him as the stiff General Hux in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

  2. Welcome to the Farm
In the film, it is not just the bunnies that ran the show. Several other animals also play to steal the spotlight- there is the neurotic rooster, a health-conscious pig, and a carefree porcupine. Have them all together in a scene and riot will undoubtedly ensue. However, my most favorite animal in the film is a deer that stiffens at the presence of a headlight. (Get it?)

  3. More Than Just Laughter
More than the slapstick humor and spot-on gags, Peter Rabbit tries to deliver a deeper message throughout the film. The plot highlights the fight of animals for land and eventually, for food. It may have been delivered in a hilarious manner but it is a potentially great way to introduce kids to animals and their ecosystem. Pardon the geek in me for coming out, but Peter Rabbit really has some depth yet to be explored.
