And there’s no other better way to start my 2019 than with Walt Disney Pictures’ Mary Poppins Returns. Most of us grew up watching Julie Andrews at the 1964 movie, Mary Poppins. It has been more than a decade since I last saw the movie so reliving the magic and music of the sequel brought back some of my happiest memories. REVIEW: Ballet Manila Presents Snow White
A large chunk of my childhood at home was spent watching Disney classics such as The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and Snow White. The latter is one of my favorites because of the magic in its story and the tale of good triumphing over evil. Its multidimensional characters also hooked me to the story. With that said, it is no surprise that I am more than stoked when I received an invite from Ballet Manila to attend the world premiere of Lisa Macuja-Elizalde’s Snow White.

A fill of pure magic, romance, and fantasy- that’s what Lisa Macuja-Elizalde, Ballet Manila’s CEO and Artistic Director, promises to everyone who will witness Snow White. The adaptation of the beloved fairy tale will be the third outing of Ballet Manila’s 22nd Performing season, Flights of Fantasy.
