In anticipation for the second season of the Netflix Original Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events, a special pop-up event happens this weekend at The Ruins in Poblacion, Makati.
It will be open to the public from March 22 to March 24 at 6:00 PM until late. Unfortunate Things Await @ The Ruins blends iconic sets in the series with Filipino superstition that we know damn well! Anybody remembers turning one’s plate before leaving the table for good luck? How about never opening an umbrella indoors to avoid bad luck? Create a uniquely Pinoy series of unfortunate events here!

The second season of this Netflix original series dives further into the epic world of this darkly comedic mystery. It stars Emmy and Tony Award-winner Neil Patrick Harris as the devious Count Olaf who makes the tragic tale of the Baudelaire orphans- Violet, Klaus, and Sunny- even more tragic. Based on the internationally best selling series of books, the series recounts Count Olaf’s plans and disguises to get his hands on thee Baudelaire inheritance.
