Imagine growing up with a particular knowledge about your family only to have it destroyed in such an unlikely manner. That’s the case for two brothers- Kyle and Peter Reynolds- as they found the truth about their father during the wedding of their mom, of all occasions!
How do you intend to start the year? Are you going to be more physically active this 2018? Do you plan to travel more? We create New Year’s resolutions every year. That does not mean, however, that we have to make drastic changes to ourselves. We can just continue what we have been doing last year and instead work on improving ourselves. Be the better version of yourself. Be your #BestMeEver.
As a copywriter by day and a blogger by night (and even day, sometimes), creative block is no joke! It is as real as it gets! There are days when I just run out of inspiration to get the creative juice flowing. Lots of factors cause it and one sure thing is the working environment. I am stuck on most days inside our office while crafting ideas for my brands. I am not gonna lie, it gets draining at times! There are days when I just want to get out of the office and head to a park, coffee shop, or a co-working space. Co-working spaces are in abundance in Makati. As a wandering millennial, I don’t mind going to places. Maginhawa gets on top of my head when I get the urge to head north and the best thing about it is there is now a haven for us creatives- Cerebrew!
Everyone I know who goes out of the country has Taiwan as their top destination. Why wouldn’t it be when seat sales are happening all year round and the country is now Visa-free for Filipinos? Beautiful travel spots and incredible dining experiences are among the great things that the country has to offer. When the craving for Taiwanese cuisine hits, foodies no longer have to book a roundtrip plane ticket to Taiwan to get their fill. Fat Fook Manila is opening their second branch in Robinsons Galleria to serve authentic Taiwanese flavors.
A large chunk of my childhood at home was spent watching Disney classics such as The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and Snow White. The latter is one of my favorites because of the magic in its story and the tale of good triumphing over evil. Its multidimensional characters also hooked me to the story. With that said, it is no surprise that I am more than stoked when I received an invite from Ballet Manila to attend the world premiere of Lisa Macuja-Elizalde’s Snow White.

As a south kid blogger, I consider attending events beyond Ortigas a journey! These areas are easily reachable but the traffic makes everything extra bad! Well, that will no longer be the case. Recently, my favorite gelato shop opened their first flagship store in the northern side of the metro. Mio Gelati is now up and running in Ayala Vertis North. On November 10, I attended the grand launch along with other food and lifestyle bloggers. We were treated to their best-sellers and even introduced us to their new line of treats!
