As a south kid blogger, I consider attending events beyond Ortigas a journey! These areas are easily reachable but the traffic makes everything extra bad! Well, that will no longer be the case. Recently, my favorite gelato shop opened their first flagship store in the northern side of the metro. Mio Gelati is now up and running in Ayala Vertis North. On November 10, I attended the grand launch along with other food and lifestyle bloggers. We were treated to their best-sellers and even introduced us to their new line of treats!
We’re now a few weeks away from celebrating Christmas and that means that establishments all over the country will start boasting their holiday decors. Last week, SM Malls started the rounds in their different key stores. The major mall in the south, SM Southmall welcomed, us, bloggers and other special guests to the lighting of their giant Christmas Tree. On top of this, live music and a special performance from Stages delighted those who participated in the event!
I’m at this point in my life where I should be carefree with my money. I have a regular job, I have some bills to pay, but also, I have my expenses for leisure. But sometimes, I tend to go overboard my budget. I can admittedly say that I am not as financially literate as I would want to become. Simple budgeting is not enough. Luckily for me, and for us millennial, Sun Life launched three digital financial literacy initiatives that will help Filipinos be smarter with their money.
This October, SM Southmall and Buku-Buku Kafe, celebrated United Nations by conducting a series of art workshops. The event comes at a perfect time with their campaign promoting peace through art. The Art for Peace is a series of art workshops that ran for a week from October 21 to 24. Various activities such as sketch workshop, face painting, paper cutting workshop, and music session filled the week-long schedule of the event.

We share a common belief that this type of insurance is way too early for us to think about. If anything else, we would be getting a health or education plan first. But hold up, continue reading why you should also think about death care. It’s not going to be morbid, I promise. Here’s what I realized after the event by Breakout Philippines and St. Peter Life Plans. Read more about Breakout x St. Peter Life Plans for Death Care Week …
Following the incredible success of Gerardo Francisco’s Ibong Adarna, Ballet Manila brings in another ballet classic for their 22nd Performance Season “Flights of Fantasy”. The country’s premier ballet company soars yet again with the re-staging of Swan Lake. Ballet Manila’s production is both a part of the company’s commitment to produce at least one classic ballet in every season’s repertoire and to bring in brilliance and grandeur.
Most millennial nowadays are crazy about the newest Netflix teen-drama, Riverdale. It is a loose adaptation of the hit comic book Archie. Teen romance, family drama, and mystery fill the show, making it easy for everyone to fall in love with it. But aside from the series’ interesting plot, people are also crazy about its aesthetics. Particularly, by the neon lit-retro signage at Pop’s Chock’lit Shoppe.
