For pop culture fans like I am, Bingers, Christmas came early today. During the Disney Investor Day, the mouse company showcased and announced their upcoming series and movies. If you have been living under the rock, Disney is now the largest media company in the world having owned big names such as Marvel, Star Wars, and FOX. So, the announcement was huge. It was, in fact, overwhelming. But let me share you guys the top 5 upcoming series and movies from Disney!

Loki

I know, we all love a good mischief. And now in the God of Mischief’s own series we will get to see what he has been up to since THAT event in Avengers: Endgame. I know, even I is confused. He died then his alternate timeline self is alive then with the Tesseract, he went to another …space? I guess we’ll have to wait when the series drops on Disney+ next year. So, to get you more excited, here’s the trailer. Keep your eyes peeled for Easter Eggs. 🙂

WandaVision

In other reality-warping story, Marvel Studios is bringing back another Avenger from the grave. Okay, that sounded too grim but yes, Vision (Paul Bettany) is back and is having a lovely life with his wife Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen). From the previews, it seems like we are going to get a sitcom but we all know that there is more than just the surface. And if you have been reading the comics, you’ll know better not to expect less from Wanda. PS: She can alter reality. It is dropping on January on Disney+

Secret Invasion

This one is not for the ones with trust issues. Really. This comic arc is full of deception. The Avengers and heroes we have gotten used to are revealed to actually be Kree warriors. Allies turned foes. Foes turned allies. The story in the comics was gripping and exciting and I can’t wait to see how it will translate on screen. Streaming soon on Disney+ as well.

And now from Marvel, let’s move on to one of the many upcoming Star Wars projects! I recently started watching The Mandalorian and I was impressed with the world building of the series. So, when I learned that a 12-episode series is in the works starring Cassian Andor, I was hyped! We first met Andor in the standalone Star Wars movie, Rogue One, which by the way is my favorite movie in the franchise. There is no date yet on when this is going to come out but here is our first look.

Hawkeye

And lastly, we have the archer. Yep, Hawkeye is also making the jump from the big screen to our TV or phones. Jeremy Renner is joined by Hailee Steinfeld and they’ll play Clint Barton and Kate Bishop, respectively. There is no confirmation yet whether the series will be an adaptation of Matt Fraction’s Hawkeye but judging by the set photos, it looks like it will. EXCITING!!!
